CAPÍTULO 23 - DESENVOLVIMENTO E COMPORTAMENTO INFANTIL: IMPACTOS DA PANDEMIA DE COVID-19 NA PRIMEIRA INFÂNCIA

Objetivo: Este estudo visou identificar os impactos da pandemia de covid-19 no desenvolvimento e no comportamento infantil e analisar as vivências de crianças nascidas no contexto de pandemia. Metodologia: Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa quantitativa do tipo descritiva que contou com uma amostra de 22 pais/responsáveis de crianças entre 3 e 5 anos de idade. A coleta de dados foi feita através de um formulário online, respondido de forma individual, sendo composto pelo Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido (TCLE), questionário sociodemográfico e pelo instrumento Survey of Wellbeing of Young Children (SWYC). Resultados e Discussão: A média de idade dos pais/responsáveis foi de 35 anos, variando entre 24 a 45 anos. Com a execução deste estudo, foi observado que as principais preocupações dos pais se relacionavam com a socialização dos filhos e a falta de rede de apoio durante os dias, além do uso de telas que se tornou algo frequente, presente em mais da metade da amostra por mais de 2 horas por dia. Considerações finais: Devido ao tamanho reduzido da amostra, é necessário que mais estudos sejam feitos na área e que a amostra seja ampliada; dessa forma, será possível ter acesso a mais informações diferentes.

ABSTRACT:
Objective: This study aimed to identify the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on child development and behavior and to analyze the experiences of children born during the pandemic. Methodology: To this end, a quantitative descriptive study was conducted with a sample of 22 parents/guardians of children between 3 and 5 years of age. Data collection was done through an online form, answered individually, consisting of the Free and Informed Consent Form (FICF), a sociodemographic questionnaire, and the Survey of Wellbeing of Young Children (SWYC). Results and Discussion: The average age of parents/guardians was 35 years, ranging from 24 to 45 years. Through the execution of this study, it was observed that the main concerns of parents were related to the socialization of their children and the lack of a support network during the day, in addition to the use of screens, which became frequent, present in more than half of the sample for more than 2 hours per day. Final considerations: Due to the small sample size, it is necessary that more studies be carried out in the area and that the sample be expanded; in this way, it will be possible to have access to more different information.
